<p>PURPOSE:To alter the handled brands and sale prices of ticket vending machines by connecting a host computer and the ticket vending machines by a communication line. CONSTITUTION:The ticket vending system wherein the host computer C and ticket vending machines A and B are connected by the communication line D is provided with a column indication part 10, which sends information on at least one of the sale brands and sale prices to the ticket vending machine through the line D, on the side of the host computer C. Each ticket vending machine is provided with a brand display unit 11 and a sale price display unit 12 whose display contents can be altered, a 1st memory 13 where contents outputted to the display unit 11 are held, a 2nd memory 4 where contents outputted to the display unit 12 are held, and a column information alteration part 15 which updates the contents of the memories 13 and 14 according to the latest information obtained from the line D, and the display contents of the display units 11 and 12 of the ticket vending machines A and B are altered with an indication from the computer C. Consequently, the need for manual replacing operation by a staff is eliminated and the improvement of the operability is expected.</p> |
