<p>PURPOSE:To improve safety and economical efficiency by providing an air bag device with a seat position switch brought into an ON-state when the inclination angle of a seat back is within a given allowable range and a seating switch brought into an ON-state by means of a seating signal. CONSTITUTION:When a seating passenger is absent at a rear seat 21 being an air bag 11 mounted seat 1 and a seat back 3 of the air bag 11 mounted seat 1 is not within the angle range of a given allowable range, a seat position switch 28 and a seating switch 25 are not brought into an ON-state. Even when an impact sensing sensor 30 is in a state to sense an impact, a gas generator 13 of an air bag device 11 for a rear seat is not actuated. Thus, the air bag device 11 for a rear seat is prevented from useless working, the unnecessary increase of an internal pressure of a car room is prevented from occurring, and a passenger seating a rear seat 21 can be reliably constrained and protected. This constitution improves safety and economical efficiency.</p> |
