PURPOSE:To freely make fluid to stop and pass by inserting a hollow screw rod in a cylindrical elastic body and arranging receiving plates abutting on the cylindrical elastic body at the head of the elastic body and detachably fitting a washer, which abuts on the base section of the elastic body, and the nut neighboring the washer to the middle part of the thread rod. CONSTITUTION:A water stopping cock 1 which allows water to pass is inserted into a pipe. In this state, the nut 4a of the water stopping cock 1 is fitted to the fitting section 5a of the head of an external cylinder 5 in a detention state. The left hand thread section 4b of the water stopping cock 1 is threadedly fitted to the thread section 6a of the head of a cylinder 6 to install the water stopping cock 1 in the end section of the pipe. When the external cylinder 5 is rotated in the direction to which the nut 4a goes ahead, the nut 4a goes ahead toward the head of a screw rod 4, and an elastic body 8 is intensively pressed between a washer 9 and receiving plate 7, and the peripheral surface of the elastic body 8 expands toward the internal wall face of the pipe to clog the pipe. In this state, when a pipe with pressure gauge and check valve are connected to water pass section 2 and pressured gas is charged in the system through the water pass section 2, pressure loss can be measured, and whether or not there are portions where fluid leaks from piping newly embedded in a wall can also be measured. |
