A vehicle door (1) is connected to the vehicle bodywork via upper (2) and lower (3) hinges linked to the door column. The two hinges are identically formed, and have two hinge halves (5, 6). The one half (5) has a bowl-shaped link part (7), and the other half (6) has a partly spherical link part (8). The two link parts engage via a bearing shell (9) made of maintenance-free material. The two halves (5, 6) of each hinge (2, 3) are formed from a single piece of plate material (10, 11) and accordingly have the same distance the one from the other. A tension device (12) is fitted between the upper and lower hinges (2, 3) and comprises a spindle pin formed by a screw bolt. USE - As a pin-less hinge arrangement for vehicle door linkage.
