PURPOSE:To dispense with a process to segment a real plotting area in advance and to reduce the number of programs and the quantity of hardware by providing a circuit to prepare a plotting mask. CONSTITUTION:A computer 101 is used to execute plotting on an image processing device 102, and supplies a plotting start point DS represented in plotting data, a plotting end point DE, parameters C1, C2 representing clipping areas, and real plotting data to the image processing device 102 via a C-Bus 10. The image processing device 102 makes access frame memory 110 by the parameters, and performs write so as to perform the plotting at every raster. In such a case, the image processing device 102 is equipped with mask pattern generators A, B, and prepare the plotting mask from the parameters representing an area desired to plot and the clipping area, and performs the plotting. Thereby, it is possible to dispense with the process to perform the segmentation of the real plotting area in advance, and to reduce the quantity of hardware and softwarer of a CPU, which improves processing efficiency. |
