<p>PURPOSE:To improve the treatability of a lightweight concrete aggregate by sticking a stony material such as a pearlite or the like on the surface of the fine particles of closed foam plastics such as styrene foam or the like at a specified volume ratio. CONSTITUTION:Closed foam plastics such as styrene foam or the like are pulverized into fine particles having about <=3mm particle size. Furthermore, a story material such as an inorganic natural material such as pumice, an inorganic naturally worked material such a pearlite or an inorganic nonworked material such as slag pulverized into powder having about <=1.5mm particle size. Next, the closed foam plastic fine particles and the stony powder are stirred and mixed in the ratio of about 10/1 by weight in a suitable container, by which the stony powder is stuck on the surface of the closed foam plastic fine particles to obtain a lightweight concrete aggregate. Then, this lightweight aggregate is mixed with cement in the ratio of (2 to 3)/1 by bulk density to obtain lightweight concrete.</p> |
