PURPOSE:To raise ink jet pressure white restraining burning of a conductive electrode by a method wherein a head body in which a front side of an insulating substrate is arranged opposed to recording paper, an ink tank in which conductive ink is reserved and the insulating substrate is immersed in this conductive ink, and a pulse communication device electrifying a cathode electrode and an anode electrode are established. CONSTITUTION:A nozzle 1 jets ink by electrifying an anode electrode 6 and a cathode electrode 7. That is, when specific voltage is impressed between the anode electrode 6 and the cathode electrode 7, a current flows in an instant through conductive ink 3 staying in a part of a combustion layer 1a. The conductive ink 3 is gasified by heating following this electrification, and the anode electrode 6 and the cathode electrode 7 come to be covered by hot bubbles. Gas discharge can be caused between the anode electrode 6 and the cathode electrode 7 by selecting suitably a thickness of the combustion layer 1a and conductive time. Therefore, plasma jet is generated in a fine pore 8 for jetting ink, and the conductive ink 3 staying in the part of the ink layer 1b is discharged toward recording paper 4 by the plasma jet. |
