PURPOSE:To omit the drying work of a molded product and to shorten a working time by reducing the pressure of a molding space at the times when a mold is opened and a molded product is taken out. CONSTITUTION:A mold consisting of a cavity mold 1 and a core mold 2 for molding a foamed synthetic resin molded product is closed and the molding space 3 formed between both molds is filled with raw material particles. Subsequently, both molds are heated and cooled to form a foamed synthetic resin molded product. In a process wherein the mold is opened and a process wherein a molded product is taken out of the mold, the heating chambers 5, 6 behind at least the fixed mold of both molds are reduced in pressure. By this method, a part of the cooling water remaining in the heating chambers 5, 6 behind the mold is bonded to the molded product through a ventilating opening part 9 to wet the surface of the molded product or to penetrate in the molded product and the danger of a high hydrous phenomenon generated in the molded product can be prevented. |
