PURPOSE:To provide the subject device having a specific structure, capable of heating or thermally cooking food materials safely at suitable and accurate temperatures within short time without any hot water or microwave oven and useful for cooking instant noodles, etc. CONSTITUTION:A food material containing an electrolyte is received in a electrically processing container 1 whose upper surface is opened and, on both whose inner sides, a pair of electrodes are disposed, respectively, and the container 1 is detachably loaded on a base plate 5. The container 1 is loaded on the base plate 5 so that the container contact members 4 extended outward from the respective electrodes 2, 2 contacts with the power transmission member 8 of a control box 6. The container 1 is further provided with a lid 11 and a temperature detector 14. An operating arm 9 pivotally and raisably attached to the control box 6 is fallen on a shaft to cover the upper opened portion of the container 1, followed by applying an electric current. Finally, the temperature, etc., of the food material are detected with the temperature detector 14, and when the detected temperature reaches a prescribed temperature, the application of the electric current is automatically stopped. |
