PURPOSE:To provide a high evaporation capacity when a large amount of defrosting water is produced and prevent dew fromation on the bottom of a refrigerator by a method wherein when the continuous open in time of a damper exceeds the set value, an evaporation stimulating fan is kept in operation synchronizing with a rotary compressor until the defrosting operation after the next is started. CONSTITUTION:A defrosting controller 16 makes a timer 25 count the specified continu ous opening time period of a damper 40 of a motor- driven damper 38 according to the output form a refrigerating compartment temperature controller 31 after the integrated operating time period of a rotary compressor 6 reaches a specified value. When the count reaches the set time period, H signal is continued to by output to an AND circuit 26 until the defrosting operation after the next is completed. On the other hand, when the compressor 6 is in operation, H signal is output from a terminal (a) of the controller 16 to the circuit 26 and when the compressor 6 is out of operation, L signal is input to the circuit 26. The output of the circuit 26 is an H signal composed of the H signals from the timer 25 and the controller 16, a transistor 27 is turned on, a relay coil 28 is energized, a relay contact 29 is opened, and an evaporation stimulating fan 30 is brought in operation. |
