<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for provision of two sets of video decks, to decrease the time for edit and to prevent deterioration in picture quality by receiving a specific control signal (CTL signal) during playing of a video tape so as to select the fast feed + blue back operation thereby skipping an undesired pattern automatically during the reproduction. CONSTITUTION:Upon the report of the receipt of a cut-in signal from a CTL signal R/W system 2 in the case of the mode of undesired scene skip reproduc tion, a CPU 3 instructs a blue back output to a CRTC 5 immediately and allows the video system to enter the fast feed operation. Moreover, the CPU 3 monitors the report of recept of a cut-off signal from the CTL signal R/W system 2 to command the stop to a video system 7 immediately upon the receipt of the report. Then the CPU 3 allows the video system 7 to make reverse reproduc tion or forward reproduction to match the tape to a scene in which the cut-off signal exists accurately and to instruct the reproduction together with the re lease of blue back. Thus, it is not required to provide two sets of video decks, the time required for edit is short and the deterioration in the picture quality is avoided.</p> |
