<p>The short-ski-like sports article described has board-like rear (10), centre (11) and front (12) sections, the front section being curbed upwards. Fitted on the upper surface of the centre section (11) is a device (binding) designed to hold the shoe of the user. The underside of the rear, centre and front sections has a running surface made of plastic or a similar material. The article is characterized in that: (i) the side edges (15, 16) of the centre section (11) are waisted, (ii) the maximum horizontal-projection length (L), i.e. the maximum length of the plan view, is between about 63 cm and about 80 cm, particularly between about 70 cm and about 75 cm, (iii) the ratio of the minimum width (B) to the maximum length (L) is between about 0.12 and about 0.23, in particular between about 0.13 and about 0.16.</p> |
