<p>PURPOSE:To extend the I/O apparatus in which a touch panel is used for an input part by providing an extension I/O control circuit between a display device and a main controller. CONSTITUTION:When an input from a touch panel 6 is requested to a main controller 3, necessary screen information is displayed on a display panel 5 through a video signal from a display control circuit 22. When an operator indicates the position concerned on the touch panel 6 in accordance with an instruction of this display panel 5, the touch panel 6 detects its position information, and answers to a touch panel control circuit 23 of the main controller 3 through a touch panel signal 108. In such a state, a control part of an extension I/O apparatus 4 is extended to such a system. A first extension I/O controller 2 is inserted between a display device 1 and the main controller 3. In such a way, the control of the extension I/O apparatus 4 to which a real time property is requested can be executed without changing an application program.</p> |
