Process comprises mixing quartz sand with a hardener and an alkyd binder in a ratio of 100:2:2. The alkyd binder is prepd. by mxiing unsatd. polyester resins with triethylamine, dibutyl dilaurate and triethanol amine in a (wt.) ratio of 100:15:10:3.
