PURPOSE:To prevent the unnecessary revolution of a paper-feed roller shaft under the state in which a clutch mechanism interposing between a rotary section and the paper-feed roller shaft is disconnected, and to project the heads of sheets with high accuracy by a paper-feed roller by engaging a control member with a wheel to be braked. CONSTITUTION:A paper-feed roller shaft 35 and a shaft 38 for a paper-feed roller 40 are interlocked with a platen and turned. A gear 46 as an input-side revolution body is mounted rotatably to a section projecting to the outside from a side plate 45 in the paper-feed roller shaft 35. A coil-shaped clutch spring 48 is wound extending over a sleeve section, and constitutes a clutch mechanism 50 together with a clutch releasing mechanism 49. With an armature 52, a nose section is connected to one end 48a of the clutch spring 48 under the state in which the armature 52 is drawn apart from a magnet 51 by a spring 53, and it is separated when it is drawn by the magnet 51. When the nose section of the armature 52 is connected to one end 48a of the clutch spring 48, the clamping effect of the clutch spring 48 is not displayed, thus resulting in no racing of the gear 46, then preventing the revolution of the paper-feed roller shaft 35. |
