<p>PURPOSE:To attain the simultaneous input of the 3-dimensional coordinate data in direct real time by performing the rolling and up-down motions of a spherical body and inputting the 3-dimensional coordinate data based on the detection signals of 1st-3rd detection means. CONSTITUTION:An operator grips a handle 2 of a spherical body 1a and moves up or down the handle 2 by depressing a button switch 20 while viewing the screen of a display device 10. Thus a position detector 8a detects the position of the body 1a and sends a detection signal to a CPU 9. The CPU 9 applies the arithmetic processing to the received detection signal and sends it to the device 10 as the Z coordinate data. Then the coordinate data is displayed on the screen of the device 10. When the movement of the body 1a is stopped at a desired position and the switch 20 is released, the Z coordinate data is fixed. Then the switch 20 is depressed via the handle 2 and the body 1a is rolled in the desired X-Y coordinate direction. Thus the rotors 6a and 7a are rotated and the rotational angles of both rotors are detected by the encoders 6b and 7b to send the detection signals to the CPU 9. The CPU 9 computes the received detection signals and displays them on the device 10. Then the X and Y coordinate data are fixed.</p> |
