<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a monitor function of a radar from being lost by control ling the arrestor synchronously with the rotation of the radar so that a voltage is applied only to an arrestor at the outside of monitor range of the radar. CONSTITUTION:An arrestor 23 is provided to a top of a radar on a roof made of an insulator 21, and a voltage is applied to each arrestor 23 via a lead wire 24 from a voltage generator 25 corresponding to each arrestor. Then the voltage application and stop to the arrestor 23 is implemented only to the arrestor 23 at the outside of the monitor range theta of the radar in interlocking with the rotating position of the radar 22. Thus, the protection range against the lightning is expanded without increasing the height of the arrestor 23 installed to a radar site and losing the monitor function of the radar 22.</p> |
