PURPOSE:To form a comfortable local space by a method wherein a damper to switch the discharge direction of cold air to a cold air discharge port and to a discharge port for a cold exhaust heat is mounted at the upper part of the interior of a casing. CONSTITUTION:Cold air delivered from a cold air discharge device 9 cools a cooling plate 2 from the back thereof in the middle of the passage of it through a casing 1. Cold radiation is emitted in a space in the vicinity of a position in front of the cooling plate 2 and cold air is discharged upward through a discharge port 4 for a cold exhaust heat, formed in the top part of the casing 1, with the aid of a damper 10, and only cold radiation is fed to a user in front of the casing 1. When the damper 10 is switched to a reverse direction, cold radiation is emitted in a space formed in the vicinity of the front of the cooling plate 2, cold air is delivered to a front through an upper cold air discharge port 3, and a user in front of the casing feels cold radiation and cold air. |
