<p>PURPOSE:To make a failed switchboard interchangeable pulling out it easily without moving other arranged switchboards by providing a sleeve type expansion joint which is provided with tube flanges at both the ends thereof and is extensible in its axial direction, in between the flanges of two tubes being on both the sides of the joint. CONSTITUTION:Tube flanges 12 of both the ends of a sleeve type expansion joint 10 are fastened on tube flanges 2 of the ends of two bus room containers 1 by bolts 4 and nuts 5. Thereby, the two bus room containers 1 are combined with the joint 10 being extensible in its axial direction between. When interchanging a switchboard, control wires, etc., which are not illustrated, are taken off. After taking off buses in the bus room container 1, etc., a ring nut 14 is unfastened and the bolt 4 and the nut 5 are taken off. In that case, the combination of an outer tube 11a and an inner tube 11b can be contracted in their axial direction to generate a space and a failed switchboard can be interchanged simply without moving other switchboards. Further, instead of the joint 10, a bellows expansion joint may be used.</p> |
