Straightening street lamp posts - involves machine which grips lower end of post and applies force to upper end

A street lamppost (22) which has been bent out of its original vertical position, is straightened by a machine mounted on a frame (2) which is supported on wheels (3,4). The frame (2) supports two uprights (25,26) with the first upright (25) being fitted with a vertical slide (9). A hydraulic clamp grips the post (22) at a point close to the ground. The slide (9) carries a hydraulic cylinder (10) with an attached chain (29). This chain (29 is passed around the post (22) at a point near its upper end. A force is then exerted on the post (22) by the hydraulic cylinder (10) to bending the post (22) back to its vertical position. USE - Repairing lampposts.
