The shade for windows, skylights or conservatories is a fabric (1) of two layers (2,3) bonded together as a screen. The carriers (5) can be held by the woven fabric (1) in the weft and also the warp directions. The links (6) between the two layers (2,3) can be local or as flat bondings, to give equal intervals in the screen structure formed by the links (6) between the two layers, in the warp and weft directions. Rods (5) are pref. as the carriers, held in pockets (4) formed by the screen assembly of the two fabric layers (2,3). ADVANTAGE - The materials can be stitched together in each direction, to give a shade of the required length and width.
