<p>PURPOSE: To execute purification by a small amt. of carbon-contg. material by executing the contact of the flue gases to be purified and the carbon-contg. material in the state of entraining both in a fluid flow, separating the solid carbon-contg. material from the flue gases and returning the material of a larger grain size to incineration equipment or the like. CONSTITUTION: Light ash is separate from the flue gases 4 contg. contaminants from an incineration furnace 1. The flue gases are introduced to a first reaction area 8 where the gases are brought into contact with the Ca-contg. basic material 9, and SO2 , HCl, HF or the like are partially removed and are bonded to the material 9. Further, the flue gases are introduced to a second reaction area 12 where the gases are brought into contact with the carbon-contg. material 13 in order to remove part of the residual contaminants, more particularly heavy metals, to remove the basic material loaded with the contaminant from the flue gases. The contact of the flue gases to be purified and the carbon-contg. material is executed in the state of entraining both in the fluid flow in the reaction area 12. Next, the solid carbon-contg. material is separated from the flue gases and at least a portion of fractions 17 of the larger grain size is returned to the furnace 1 or the reaction areas 8 and 12.</p> |
