PURPOSE:To prevent slip of a belt by reducing frictional force caused between a driver and an axial support member at the time of driving a servo mechanism in which a screw is relatively rotated to displace a movable flange axially by means of a thrust bearing. CONSTITUTION:At the time of up-shift, brakes 63, 73 are engaged, and a brake 66 is engaged for down-shift. At this time, there is large pressure force caused among sleeves 62, 72 which are drivers, a cam race 87 and an engaging ring 77, whereby rotational resistance due to friction at the time of relative rotation becomes greater than the capacity of frictional resistance by the clamping force of a V-belt to cause slip of the V-belt. Accordingly, thrust bearings 85, 75 are inserted, so that rotational resistance due to frictional force at the time of relative rotation is reduced to prevent slip of the V-belt. |
