A vehicle has at least six wheels, at least three 1,3,5 and 2,4,6 of which are disposed on each side of the vehicle and each of which is individually suspended from a chassis 7 of the vehicle by means of a respective pivot arm 8-13 which is pivotable in the vertical direction, between each of which pivot arms and the vehicle chassis there is disposed a hydraulic cylinder 16-21, each of which hydraulic cylinders has two hydraulic fluid chambers 28-33 and 34-39 located on opposite sides of a piston of the hydraulic cylinder, in a first 28-33 of which the hydraulic fluid is present under pressure in order to oppose such pivoting of the associated pivot arm that the wheel disposed thereon is raised relative to the vehicle chassis, in that the hydraulic cylinders 16-21 are coupled or can be coupled for mutual interaction in a closed circuit in which the cylinders of the pivot arms disposed on each side of the vehicle have their first chambers 28,30,32 and 29,31,33 communicating with each other, at least two hydraulic cylinders 16,17 for front pivot arms 8,9 disposed on opposite sides of the vehicle have their second hydraulic fluid chambers 34,35 communicating with each other, and at least two hydraulic cylinders 18,20 and 19,21 for the further pivot arms 10,12 and 11,13 on each side of the vehicle have their second chambers 36,38 and 37,39 communicating both with each other and with the second chambers 37,39 and 36,38 of the at least two hydraulic cylinders 19,21 and 18,20 disposed on the opposite side of the vehicle. <IMAGE> |
