The hollow milling cutter comprises a body (2) with spiral grooves (5) on the outside, a cylindrical inner surface, and an outer surface formed by the groove rear faces. Cutter teeth (6) form a ridge (8) concentric to the cutter axis. The longitudinal axis of the inner surface is offset for a given distance from that of the cutter, and/or the axis of the outer surface is offset for a given distance in the opposite direction from the cutter axis (M). ADVANTAGE - No jamming, the core dropping out automatically.
