PURPOSE:To prevent the drop of an outer casing of a main body reliably by a method wherein a metal fitting for suspension and fixation having a hook-shaped upper end and being bent in the shape of a stairway toward the lower end thereof is fixed to outer peripheral opposite side parts of the outer casing of the main body and a fixation metal fitting for suspension is held between said metal fitting and the outer casing of the main body. CONSTITUTION:A fixation metal fitting 24 for suspension for suspending an outer casing 5 of a main body of ceiling-type heat-exchanging and ventilating equipment from the surface of the ceiling and for fixing it thereto is hooked at the opposite ends on a metal fitting 25 for suspension and fixation and fixed in screw holes in outer peripheral opposite side parts of the outer casing 5 of the main body through threaded through holes by fastening members, and anchor bolts from the ceiling are passed through long holes 24b and tightened with nuts for suspension. With the upper-end hook-shaped parts 25a passed through under a plurality of slits 5c provided in the opposite side parts of the outer casing 5 of the main body located in the vicinity of the surface of the ceiling, said metal fitting 25 for suspension and fixation is held fast by fastening members from outside to be fixed, and the L-shaped bent part 24c of the fixation metal fitting 24 for suspension is held by the back of a part 25b bent in the shape of a stairway toward the lower end and by the outer casing 5 of the main body. The outside of these components is covered with a decorative cover 22. By this constitution, drop of the outer casing of the main body can be prevented without fail. |
