METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE COORDINATES OF STARS FOR PREPARATION OF A STAR CATALOGUE.

The image of a star is registered using an astronomical instrument fixed on a space appts., with the optical axis of the instrument orientated orthogonally to the longitudinal axis of the appts., rotating at a constant angular velocity relative to its longitudinal axis. The coordinates of the star are then measured repeatedly in an instrumental system of coordinates and the moments of measurement are noted. Determn. of the angular movement allows the spatial position of the appts. to be determined at any moment of time and the measurements of the instrumental coordinates are subjected to static processing, to calculate the inertial coordinates of the star at the moments of observation simultaneously with the parameters of angular movement and distortions of the astronomical appts. The position of the star is fixed in a global system of coordinates.
