The setting device cooperates with the rear longitudinal edge of the keyboard. It uses a drive element (11) fitted to an axis (12) extending across the base (5) of the keyboard, parallel to the rear edge, with a lever (13,14) at each end with a radial arm (15,16) and an integral pivot pin (17,18) fitting into a corresponding slot (19,20) at each side of the keyboard surface (3). One of the levers (14) has a second arm (23) with a guide pin (25) at its free end (24) cooperating with a slot (26) provided by a perpendicular slider (27) which can be adjusted manually between a number of ratchet positions. ADVANTAGE - Allows single adjustment by each individual user.
