Dielectric ceramic composition based on ferrites and process for its production.

A dielectric ceramic composition consisting of conductive ferrite and of a substance forming an intergranular stop layer made of Bi2O3, Li2O3 and at least one oxide chosen from PbO, SiO2, B2O3, Fe2O3, Na2O and K2O. This ceramic is manufactured from a conductive ferrite by impregnation with a molten ternary mixture containing the constituents of the intergranular stop layer or precursors of these constituents. The choice of the constituents and of the impregnation conditions allows the dielectric characteristics of the ceramic obtained to be modified.
