PURPOSE:To enable the installation of the title equipment in an optional position of piping by providing a pressure wave buffer body having a rubber elastic cylinder part and a buffer chamber, a casing, and a tube fitting, and communicating a pressure wave buffer passage with the tube fitting. CONSTITUTION:A water hammer preventing equipment 1 is formed of a pressure wave buffer body 2, a casing 3, and tube fittings 4, 5. The pressure wave buffer body 2 is formed of a cylinder part 6 and a buffer chamber 7 around it. The tube fitting 4 is connected to a fitting connecting part provided in the casing 3 to which the pressure wave rubber body 2 is inserted. The tube fitting 5 is connected to a fitting connecting part provided in the casing 3. A pressure wave buffer passage 8 formed on the cylinder part 6 and passage 14, 15 formed on the tube fittings 4, 5 are communicated together. Consequently, the pressure wave buffer passage can be prevented in the passage of piping. Also, as a fluid never stays, piping can be kept clean. |
