A lining brick (4) of refractory, ceramic material for a combustion chamber wall has a front surface (7) and a rear surface (6) which is directed towards the combustion chamber wall and upper and lower surfaces (8, 9) which are opposed to corresponding surface of adjacent bricks in the wall structure. A recess (10) is formed in the rear surface (6) and is partially defined by an abutment surface (11) which engages a support element (5) attached to the combustion chamber wall.
