PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the intention of a document even if character modification of document data is deleted at the time of the transmission of an electronic mail by converting character modification included in the document data before conversion into a specific symbol code according to its kind, and arranging it at a specific position in the document after conversion into the specific document data. SOLUTION: A 1st converting means (CPU 2, RAM 6, etc.) converts document data containing character modification into document data for electronic mail transmission which contains no character modification (MS-DOS standard text file conversion). A 2nd converting means (CPU 2, MS-DOS conversion table, etc.) converts the character modification included in the document data before the conversion into a symbol code (JIS code) according to its kind and arranges it at a specific position in the document after the conversion into the document data. Namely, when document data prepared on a word processor, etc., are converted into specific document data, character modification is converted into a specific symbol data according to its kind and arranged at a specific position in a document after conversion into specific document data. |
