Process and apparatus for producing punching make-readies, in particular in the folding-box industry

A process for producing punching make-readies, in particular in the folding-box industry, for at least one punching table, as well as an apparatus therefore are intended to be improved such that the time-consuming make-ready operation can be carried out without loading the automatic punching machines. For this purpose, the topography of the punching table is measured under load in a number of pressure stages, and the measurement is carried out at predetermined, individual grid points, the table-spacing differences being determined, with respect to zero dimension, for each grid point and being stored, and the topography of the table of a reproduction machine is established, whereupon, the added values of punching table and reproduction table are mapped by shaping the punching make-ready. The apparatus for carrying out this process is distinguished by a pressure ram with a hydraulic cylinder, by a pressure transducer with a pressure regulator (servomotor) connected upstream thereof, pressure regulator and pressure transducer being connected to a computer which is connected to a length-measuring device and the servomotor for changing the length of the pressure ram.
