<p>PURPOSE:To certainly arrange sheets neatly by moving a sheet pressing member until the distance between a sheet end receiving member and the sheet pressing member becomes slightly shorter than the sheet width in neatly arranging a bundle of sheets. CONSTITUTION:When a bundle of sheets on a bin 2 is jogged, a size motor 113 is driven according to the size information from the image forming device side, and a plurality of pressing members 102 mounted on a main shaft 101 through timing belts 105, 106 are moved until the corresponding position of a size detecting plate 114 is detected by a detecting means 115. A pressing elastic member 102a is oscillated together with the pressing member 102 through the main shaft 101 by the drive of an oscillating motor 116, and the sheets are arranged neatly between the pressing member and a bin fence 210. In this case, the distance between the pressing member 102 and the fence 210 is made slightly shorter than the sheet width and not less than the sheet width by 10mm. Hence, the sheets can be certainly arranged neatly.</p> |
