Disclosed are a parity puncturing apparatus for variable-length signaling information and a parity puncturing method using the parity puncturing apparatus. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the parity puncturing apparatus comprises a memory and a processor. The memory supplies a parity bit string for puncturing parity for the parity bits in an LDPC encoding language having the length of 16200 and an encoding ratio of 3/15. The processor punctures the number of bits which corresponds to the final puncturing size in the rear of the parity bit string.
