<p>PURPOSE:To omit a cable, etc., for an input pointor containing a tuning circuit by producing the radio waves to the pointor via a position detecting part to obtain the coordinate value of a position pointed by the pointor from the radio waves reflected from the turning circuit and at the same time to obtain the change of a tuning frequency as the change of a phase. CONSTITUTION:When the radio waves are produced from a radio wave generating means 7 of a tablet, a tuning circuit of an input pointor 2 reflects the radio waves. The reflected radio waves are detected by a radio wave detecting means 14 of the tablet and sent to a coordinate detecting means. Then this detecting means detects the coordinate value of a point pointed by the pointor 2 in both X and Y directions. In this case, the radio waves detected by the means 14 have the frequency and phase errors in response to the operations of the pointor 2. These errors are detected by a phase detecting means of the tablet as the phase change. Then this phase information and the information obtained from the coordinate value of the pointed position are displayed on a display device. Thus it is not required to connect a cable, etc., to the pointor 2.</p> |
