PURPOSE:To reduce a cost, by using a glass plate for making a crystal adhere when polishing the crystal, as a crystal supporting substrate in case of assembling a recording element, as it is. CONSTITUTION:When blue illuminating light L1 of an original is irradiated to a photoconductive crystal 2, electric resistance drops as to only a bright part, an electric field by electrodes 7, 4 is reduced, and a polarizing characteristic is varied. Therefore, when red light L2 which generates no photoconductivity is made to pass through polarizing plates 17, 18 and is irradiated the crystal 2, an image of an original written previously can be read out. A supporting substrate 1 for providing an insulating property for preventing an electric shock, and mechanical strength of a crystal is made to adhere to the crystal 2, but a glass plate which is made to adhere to the crystal when polishing the crystal is used as said substrate, too. Between a front protecting plate 9 and a crystal recording element, insulating oil 26 is put in order to prevent interference of light. |
