PURPOSE:To integrate an electric double layer capacitor, a diode element, and an element of a diode and a resistor, which constitute a back-up circuit in a unified body, to simplify circuit constitution work, and to improve reliability by including the diode element and the element of a diode and a resistor in a can case. CONSTITUTION:After a cell lamination body 13 is inserted into a can case 12, an insulating case 16 is included in the can case 12. A lead terminal plate 14 and a diode element 18 are included in one chamber 29 of the case 16. A power supply terminal plate 15 and an element 19 of a diode and a resistor are included in the other chamber 30 of the case 16. Since the diode element and the element of a diode and a resistor, which are necessary to constitute a back-up circuit, are included in the inside of an electric double layer capacitor, parts necessary to constitute the back-up circuit can be integrated in a unified body, so that the insertion into the power supply line of an element requiring back up becomes effective, thereby simplifying back-up circuit constitution, and improving reliability. |
