MANUFACTURING METHOD OF LAMINATED FILM

A laminate sheet is made from films of (1) polymer (I) which has polyester anisotropic melt phase and (2) film-forming thermoplastic (II). Pref. (II) is laminated on a uniaxially-oriented film of (I) or both polymers are molded to films at the same time so that they laminate each other. Opt. the laminate sheet is subsequently stretched biaxially. The laminates have high strength in both the direction of orientation (provided by (II)) and in the lateral axial direction (provided by (I)).
