<p>The invention relates to methods for the commercial use of preformed elements and display packages for performing these methods. A display package (1) according to the invention comprises a wooden structure composed of a handling pallet (2a) and of two gantry-type supports (2b, 2c) and a cardboard box (3) which is built into the wooden structure and stapled to the latter. The front face (3a) comprises a layout in dotted lines (4) which delimits two triangles (5g, 5d) which are situated in the upper corners and which carry a drawing (6) of the piece contained in the box and a reference number (7) for the latter. The layout in dotted lines comprises horizontal lines (81, 82, 83, 84) according to which the front face is to be cut out during the presentation for sale by self-service.
