PURPOSE:To obtain a superconductor while loosening a specific production condition and eliminating restriction of cost and dimension of product by blending constituent raw materials of superconductor consisting of Bi-Ca-Sr-Cu system with a specific amount of Mg. CONSTITUTION:Constituent raw materials of superconductor consisting of Bi-Ca- Sr-Cu system are blended with magnesium in a ratio of magnesium/bismuth of 0.5-2.0 to give an oxide superconductor. In the superconductor, since magnesium suppresses emergence of low-temperature phase, a high-performance superconductor can be obtained by using raw materials usually sold on the market generally in an atmospheric environment by sintering in a short time. Since the superconductor has 100K critical temperature, the superconductor has 23K margin against a refrigerant (liquid nitrogen 77K) and has great effects on realization of superconducting devices of liquid nitrogen cooling method of low cooling cost. |
