Suspension of a pivoting part

A suspension (10) of a pivoting part (12), especially of a chopper on a combine harvester, is to be designed so that the pivoting part (12) can be pivoted with little effort by an operator by means of at least two links (14, 14') which engage at one end on the pivoting part (12) and at the other end on the frame (20). For this purpose, the links (14, 14') are arranged in the form of a parallelogram, and there is provided a power-operated adjusting device (15) which engages directly or indirectly on the pivoting part (12) and by means of which the adjusting operation is carried out. The adjusting device (15) contains a multi-armed lever (16) which brings about a high step-up of the force exerted by an operator. Suspensions (10) of this type are used in choppers which are mounted in the discharge region of combine harvesters. <IMAGE>
