Manually actuable rain-protection device for rotary laundry driers. The invention relates to a device which makes it possible to protect laundry located on a rotary laundry drier from becoming wet as a result of pouring rain. The novelty of the invention is that a rain protection is drawn over a conventional rotary laundry drier at a particular distance, starting from the rotary laundry drier. This takes place manually, specifically in such a way that the drawing-round of the rain protection is carried out immediately after the laundry has been attached. The rain protection has a conical/cylindrical shape. The actual rain protection preferably consists of transparent PVC of a material thickness of 0.5 to 2.5 mm. The protection of the laundry against rain is achieved effectively by means of the invention. The entire construction consists of the following main parts. The rain protection itself. The receptacle is formed by a bent column preferably made of aluminium, the guide rings, a fastening rail and an upper covering hood and its fastening tube. Ventilation holes, covers, reinforcements as well as an embedded lead cord and fastening loops are formed on the rain protection.
