PURPOSE:To ensure uniform arrangement of image-forming elements and enable an excellent image-forming medium to be obtained by incorporating and antistatic agent into a binder constituting a binder layer for binding the elements and a base to each other. CONSTITUTION:For example, a binder prepared by adding an ethanol solution of quaternary ammonium chloride as an antistatic agent to a toluene solution of a polyester adhesive (Polyester) is applied to a base comprising a PET film by an applicator, and the solvents are removed by drying. The binder has a glass transition point of -15 deg.C, and retains a subtle tack even at room temperature. Next, a plurality of kinds of microcapsule-shaped image-forming elements are mixed with each other, and the mixture is scattered on the binder layer, followed by clearing away surplus ones of the image-forming elements, whereby the image-froming elements are arranged on the binder layer in a proportion of about 80%. Thereafter, the elements are firmly fixed on the base by applying pressure and heat thereto, thereby obtaining a transfer recording medium. |
