This invention concerns a connection device equipped with switches for the cradle mechanism in a telephone apparatus. The connection device is designed to prevent interferance between a primary apparatus, here called apparatus A, and a secondary apparatus, here called apparatus B, in a subscriber's installation. The invention is characterized by the connection device comprising a switch 7 which depending upon the position of the cradle of apparatus A keeps an incoming first line 1 either connected to the telephone receiver 5 of apparatus A or connected to apparatus B via a by-pass connection route 6 before the apparatus and by an incoming second line 2 being continuously connected to apparatus B or alternatively short-circuited to the first line after the receiver of apparatus A.
