PURPOSE:To increase both a magnetic recording area and a visible pattern writing area by forming a heat-sensitive layer on a magnetic recording layer and a metallic thin film layer on the heat-sensitive layer respectively and writing a visible pattern of characters, codes, graphics, etc., over the magnetic recording layer. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic recording layer 4 is formed on the entire surface (upper side surface) of a substrate 2 and a heat-sensitive layer 6 is formed on the layer 4. Then a metallic thin film layer 8 is formed on the layer 6 and a wear resistance layer 10 is formed on the layer 8 respectively. In such a constitution, a visible pattern (information) of characters, codes, patterns, etc., can be written over the layer 4. Thus it is possible to increase a magnetic recording area and a print area and also to prepare a visible pattern (information) area which is free from the variation with time. |
