<p>PURPOSE:To prevent concentration of traffic and congestion of network by allowing each node to apply the transfer control of a packet from an outgoing node to all nodes other than the said node or to part of the nodes. CONSTITUTION:When an identification flag discrimination section 3 discriminates it that an identification flag of a packet received at a node is set to a predetermined content, the output representing it is generated. With the output generated, a transfer control address of a received packet detected by an address detection section 4 of its own node is given to a table 7 through a retrieval start section 6 and the table 7 is retrieved by the transfer control address. Switch control information is read from the table 7 to cause switching to each node to be sent to a switch section 8 of its own node and when transfer end information is read from the table, the packet transfer from the node is not caused.</p> |
