PURPOSE:To perform many data processes by a small number of input means by setting priority for bar code information as an object of signal processing and supplying the bar code information to specific input means of a signal processor selectively according to the priority. CONSTITUTION:A priority setting circuit 14 judges the opening/closing states of an upper and a lower tray with a signal Sc from an upper magazine opening/ closing detection sensor 68 and a detection signal from a lower magazine opening/closing detection sensor 69, and waits the input of signals S1 and S2 from upper and lower magazine bar code sensors 66 and 67 in opening states and supplies them to a signal processor 60. Further, when the upper tray and lower tray are both open, the signal S1 from the upper magazine bar code sensor 66 is supplied preferentially to the signal processor 60. In this constitution, the two kinds of signals S1 and S2 from the upper and lower magazine bar code sensors 66 and 67 are supplied to two input ports as pieces of bar code information in two kinds of format to use a small number of input ports rationally. |
