The subject of the present invention is a machine for peeling and/or shelling (picking off) agricultural products, for example seeds of bulb-type plants, such as garlic. The machine according to the invention is noteworthy, particularly, in that it comprises at least one peeling chamber 1 in which are mounted at least two resilient, flexible peeler elements 5 and 6, which are movable with respect to each other, between which the products to be peeled and/or shelled (picked off) are arranged during their passage in the chamber 1 from an introduction orifice 7 towards a discharge orifice 8. The mobility of the peeler elements is ensured by drive means 20, 21, 22 and 23. The machine is also provided with means 24 and 25 capable of creating a forced ventilation in the chamber 1 between the orifices 7 and 8 on the one hand and a discharge orifice 9 on the other hand. Application: the machine according to the invention is used principally in the peeling and/or shelling (picking off) of garlic. <IMAGE>
