PURPOSE:To simplify input operations by setting a transparent tablet on a display and providing a means which recognizes characters inputted from said tablet in response to the items of a slip displayed on a display. CONSTITUTION:An input slip is shown on a liquid crystal display 2. The displayed slip contains the input items like 'name', 'address', etc. A transparent tablet 1 is set on the display 2. When the characters are handwritten on the tablet plane, a processor 3 decides the specific one of those input items to which an input operation is carried out. Then the handwritten characters are recognized and displayed in response to the items decided on a display picture. |
